Twitterrific application easter eggs!

Article by on Monday, 5 October 2009

twitterrificTwitterrific is a Twitter app for the iPhone and iPod Touch.  There were easter eggs hidden in Twitterrific 2 and this is how to unlock them.

1. Twoosh!

Twoosh is unlocked by a post that is exactly 140 characters and contains the word Twitterrific in it. For example:

Twitterrific is an awesome application for the iPhone made by the Icon Factory. There are two easter eggs hidden in the program!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This will unlock Twoosh! which makes a twoosh sound and displays a explosion call out saying Twoosh! each time you post a 140 character Tweet. You will know this worked the first time as this is what happens the first time.

2. BE AWESOME

BE AWESOME is unlocked by posting a tweet all in capitals with CHOCKLOCK at the end. For example:

THIS IS HOW TO UNLOCK ANOTHER TWITTERRIFIC EASTER EGG CHOCKLOCK

This unlocks BE AWESOME which displays tweets all in capitals. When you unlock this you will hear somebody scream “Your awesome!”
