Well the day has come that the Palm Pre goes on sale in the UK. All you need to do is head to your nearest O2 store and become a customer.
The least expensive option is for an 18 months tariff and costs £44.05 per month which gives you 1200 minutes and unlimited wifi and data.
The Palm Pre is Palm’s first device to be released featuring WebOS, a multi-tasking new OS built by Palm.
I really hope that Palm have the strength to battle on in the UK and create some dilution for the ridiculous number of iPhone-owning clones that walk the streets as we know it. Competition is a good thing, and will the iPhone still be as popular without O2 spending all that cash on marketing it any more and pushing it’s new exclusive handset? After all, it can even multi-task!
