The Samsung Galaxy S III (3) will be launched May 3rd

Article by on Monday, 16 April 2012

After months of rumors Samsung has officially announced to the world the date of the S3 launch.

The event will take place in London on May 3rd. This news comes from an invite sent to Dutch site Tweakers.net.

The event location at this point is a mystery but there is a livestream address for Facebook.

Who knows the specs, at this stage it is all speculation, but it is likely to be a top-end device which will sell like hotcakes. The Galaxy S2 is one of the fastest and best selling Android handsets of all time, with a following that can only be rivalled by iPhoners.
