Article by on Thursday, 30 April 2009

palm_preRather than creating a new news article every five minutes for the last few days we thought it would be a good idea to consolidate what we have in one post.

Release Date

While we can’t be sure, its one of two release windows: May 17th or June 6th or 7th. We now expect the June date, which also happens to be the day before the big Apple announcement.

In the Wild

pre-in-the-wildThat’s right, the Pre is in fact in the wild.

There have been numerous spottings but one of the best is this in flight shot (left). We must admit we’re a little jealous as this looks to be the real deal, and according to those in the know it’s anticipated that these handsets are running the fixed full release ROMS.

PalmOs Support

Absolutely, palm have released several tit bits showing full PalmOS (the older one) running emulated on both the handset and the SDK emulation.
