Concept Nokia Lumia PureView phone leaked

Article by on Sunday, 8 April 2012

A couple of off the wall concept shots have been released showing what could be the next generation of the Nokia PureView, this time toting Windows Phone. Welcome the Nokia Lumia PureView.

Nokia debuted the Symbian-running 808 PureView at MWCongress in February. Which packs a whopping 41MP sensor and won everybody’s approval by not being just another boring slab.

It was presumed that the PureView tech was beyond Windows Phone’s capabilities, and that the two would never join but Nokia’s Jo Harlow recently recently stated:

“I can’t say precisely when [PureView will come to Windows Phone], but it will not take very long.”

This concept , the Nokia Lumia PureView, is not the normal form factor by any means. It has a 4.3in curved glass display with an HD resolution, and a 41MP sensor with Carl Zeiss lens and PureView imaging technology.

It wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea, especially you’re average Costa hipsters, but it shows that Nokia are thinking out side of the box.
