you might want to check the functionality of the phone, calls, texts, internet etc now that your sim is working

Thanks for that, i've changed it now.

I don't think i've got a problem with the call divert as i only unlocked for the sake of unlocking

How would i check? or is there no need?

just replace your current sim with one that was blocked by the phone prior to unlocking, if im correct i also think the flex files contain the data that relates to the internet and mms settings for the networks so these also may not work when sim is replaced after unlock

ok, I just attempted this.

When I run lgmdp_euro and I get to this stage:

"4. Click select port, it should auto find your phone, click NV Default box, it wont check, but it will now allow you to push start."

I click on select port, and then connect. There is no checkbox, there is no start button, all there is :

COM8 Emergency Mode

Model
Compiled Date
Released Date
etc

these fields have values in.

What do I do next?

Am I using the apps linked in this thread.

have you got the windows enabler running? if yes is the word "ON" super imposed over the icon in the bottom right of the desktop? this should allow you to select the NV checkox which is below the "flexible logo" text

as for the COM8 emergency mode try disconnecting and reconnecting

I found the problem. I have a UK Three locked and branded viewty.

I had to use lgmdp_h3g.exe to get it to work.

Now I have the problem of not being able to type in the mtty app window. Just put in a vodafone sim, so hopefully it will work next try.
