Unlock Ku990 and more for free

Hi People, Im new to the site, first post

Just a question, I have a new Silver U990,v10a on 3. Will this unlock method work for me?

Kind of new at this, so bear with me lol.

All, As others have reported on here, v10h firmware, locked to T-Mobile can't be unlocked with any of the methods published here (or elsewhere). Method 1 (on the Wiki) reports an IDDE fault so you know it's failed whereas lg3g from Method 2 reports success but it isn't unlocked

However all is not lost, £25 spent at phonefunshop.co.uk will get you an unlock code which works

P.S. I have no connection with them, I'm just a satisfied customer after several frustrating hours spent trying to do it myself after reading all the relevant info on here.

Tried this and now the phone is fully unlocked with no problems at all. Great Stuff!! Now I just need to find out how to get rid of the two 3 icons on the home screen.

hi all tried both ways to unlock when i hit enter at multi port i get <CE-31>
and with lg3g it cant find usb port can anyone help thanks

After backing up my NV, Mitty then asked to save and said I had no permission to save anywhere after inputting the two lines so I tried all steps again and now it says it cannot read from the serial port?!? I have reinstalled all Viewty software but it still wont do the backup stage?? I am currently locked to Vodafone?
Please help
