Well the movie framerate is 20... so if it never goes higher than 15 maybe that is the cap. Try your counter with a blank swf at 100fps and see what you get?

Other than that my guess is its not the animations that make it run slow (although these do run a bit slow even on their own on the Viewty) it's the fact the Viewty can't cope with more than a few clips running in a movie

Yes yes yes............ the original is classic, these extra touches you add are genius!

When you go into the original file menus say to change usb connection mode the i3d menu shows in the back ground then when you come out of the original menus the original viewty 4 button dock is overlayed ontop of the i3d menu, is this a known bug?

how can u access the usb connection mode? cnt even do that lol! i also find that theme manager does this with a lot of themes... so i wouldnt be surprised if it did do this!

@Indy, its cos your xml is different thats all.. Joe's got it on his list for a future version..

@Joe, tried the fps experiment.. yep seems limited to around 15fps..both using theme manager and without it.. but its hovering. Now thing is, its pretty much the same with an anim and without ?? so that would suggest to me that the handset is capping it at around 15. Not 15 dead on though as it has gone to 15.4 at one point.
Any ideas? i'm not great at flash..

I've toyed with the idea of converting the ribbons and the transitions of the cube (spinning) to flv (divx?) and then playing them in the theme. Even if it doesn't give you a better fps, the playback might be more constant

Just realised the clock doesn't remember your setting when you leave the menu... fixed

Oh and as a lucky bonus the Mac icon is fully removed from the options screen
