CYL 0.6.1 & 0.6.5 Update

This is the new v0.6 build 01



what's this
it's a new theme and dialpads manager, it is easy to install, to use and to custom.
it's integrated to a High Speed and modified NYX.
it stores the last used theme, dialpad and color settings for the reboot. no need to modify xml file.
it can be used on all basic themes (black, fish and silver)
and many other features

So, to install you will need:

CYL 0.6.1 zip

rename le Nyx_menu-HS.swf to your firmware's version for example

• Nyx_Open_menu.swf for Open
• Nyx_VDF_menu.swf for VDF
• Nyx_Orange_menu.swf for Orange
• ...

also you will need
theme.zip (for optimization replace the them_bgX.swf in /LGAPP/media/swf/theme/ with those contained in the .zip)

and finally
CYLThemes

Installation:

• uninstall TM (copy theme_bgX.swf contained in themes.zip in /LGAPP/media/swf/theme/)
• Using EFS builder, copy the files in CYLv0.6.1.zip (fr.xml, en-uk.xml, shortCut.swf, Dialpad.swf, DefDialpad.swf and the renamed Nyx)in/LGAPP/media/swf/
• Place the CYLThemes folder at the root of the memory card, the folder must contains themeList.xml and some themes folder
• if you use another language (than english or french let me know I will upload xml for specific language
• reboot le viewty, it's done

How to Use

• Double "C" or menu-->application-->C.Y.L to launch the CYL manager
• select and validate the desired theme (longtouch also apply the theme, and the camera wheel slide up and down the list)
• same actions for the dialpad selection
• to add a new theme (copy it in CYLThemes/ and add the corresponding line to themelist.xml)
  example:

• to add a new dialpad (copy it in CYLThemes/Dialpads/ and add the corresponding line to themelist.xml)

  <Dialpad DialpadName="Joe13 dial"  FolderName="Dialpads" Dialpadfile="Joe13_Dialpad.swf" />

• to not load the shortcuts for a specific theme, add Shortcuts="None" in the line of themelist.xml
• if you want to use a personnal pictures, use the Photo theme. and apply your picture through the image application

Updates
replace the dialpads in CYLThemes/dialpads/ with MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
now you can use all the proposed dialpads on all the basic themes (black, silver or fish)

The update CYL0.6.5.zip is released (copy, after renaming the Nyx, the file and the Dialpad.swf )

uninstall

• replace the Nyx, shortcut.swf, Dialpad.swf,fr.xml or en-KU.xml by the original files
• restore the original theme_bgX.swf in /LGAPP/media/swf/theme/
• delete DefDialpad.swf
• delete le CYLThemes folder from the memory card

Ps2: I have modified the joe13 dialpad, because it uses one of the variables needed by the CYL.

you have to replace the en-KU.xml by en-uk.xml

I'm sorry but I don't understant It works or not???
it's the version 0.6.1 and works for french users

TM: it's a new internal id used to launch CYL (TM for themes manager)
be sure that you have respected the capital letters in CYLThemes/

links corrected for en-uk.xml

english version for joe13_dialpad-en.swf here rename it to joe13_dialpad.swf and replace the existant one in CYLThemes/dialpads/

The problem was your en-UK.xml file it was named wrong and i never noticed till it was to late lol fixed the name and all worked fine.

You should include the language files for Joe13 Dialpad as this works that is what i have done.

and everything is working great cheers for this its better than TM.

one problem i cant seem to set the default theme.

this doesn't work also the background is now black all the time even though i use silver theme.

try to apply the theme photo, if you have black background on it, try to apply the default backround (display settings) if it's already black, you have a problem with the theme_bgX/swf copied on /LGAPP/media/swf/theme/

also if you installed TM (you have to replace the corresponding theme_bgX.swf)

No need to change the default theme, the viewty will reboot on the last applied theme, use the last applied dialpad and use the default chosen color and apply them to shortcut, menus and submenus.

for the first boot you may have a black background as theme, but once you select one, it must be loaded it at the next time you reboot.

ok when i apply that theme photo the background is black even though i have the silver theme applied as my underlying theme so am not sure what's going as i use your optimized theme files.

and the theme loading up works thank you.

just a note some of your new icons buttons along the bottom and in the CYL theme manager are off slightly thought i would let you know also would it be possible to have custom icons like walkman theme.

ok the dialpads only work with the black theme selected theme_gb1.swf they dont work with any other theme_bg.

also if you use theme_BG1.swf every thins is alot faster than using any other one.

sorry use screen --> main screen theme
the other dialpads where not developped by me, and they work fine on black theme not silver nor fish.
I've told the developper to correct this problem.

are u sure that you have removed TM from the silver theme???
