Unless ive missed something, the Version of Google maps which allows you to locate yourself does NOT work on the Viewty.......

Ive read thread where people trying to install it have Borked Google maps access altogether because they couldnt find a working (older) copy again, although im pretty certain someone has posted a link to 1.6.2 version somewhere in this forum.....

SO if you do try the latest version and it doesnt work you can go back to a working version. You'll just ahve to use the forum search function......
