Try to select "Yahoo road maps". When downloading the ".map"-file

Google road maps no longer work, as far as i know.

Just one question : how configure mgmps to use maps from card ? Everytime i start application ask me if i want to connect to internet , i deny but after this apear pictures with errors instead map .

made my 44000 map files on the memory card hidden. now the phone has no slow down atall and gmaps works great if u go on map options theres a box to tick for offline mode. But all u can do in offline mode is use the map it will ask u fir internet access if u try and search for a location.

From the menu, select settings and then "map browsing". From there, check the box for "stored maps" and browse to the mgmapscache folder in the box below.

Note; google road maps no longer works, but yahoo and others do.

I want to do this onmy mobile but i cannot understand how.

can someone please explain more how to do it as when you say install the program on the mobile, how do you install it.

http://www.mgmaps.com/ click download install program on phone.
then follow the instructions to make and download the map on this thread. Copy the map to memory card.
Then setup mgmaps to use "offline" mode and point the maps location to the location you saved the maps on ur memory card. and whola.

Nice tip but i have a tip to you it´s much easyer to understand if you use pitcuers for those like me thats not are to good on eng.

Tx @dagauss its working now . The app was asking me to acces the files on mobile and i was thinking it ask for internet .

When I try to install it is telling me authenication fail

Do you have to be connected at any time to perform this because i have a problem with the network provider and i cannot use internet at any time?!
