Can someone please upload there google maps full 2.03 directory

Was wondering if anyone with google maps 2.03 good upload there whole google maps directory somewhere so i can download it and copy onto my phone.

Im in Australia on "3"
phone came with 1.61 google. when i go to download new version 2.03 it downloads to 100% then says authorisation error. This is my secong ku990 with same problem. ive tried all the tricks. deleting the jar file, deleting the whole directory. at moment i have 2.02 jar copied into directory but have lost all touch screen functions and it still shows version 1.61 with no locator.

Im pretty sure you need whole directory not just the jar file to get it to work. have tried installing from a jar file alone but it has the same authorisation error.

The maps are copyrighted to Google and would be ilegal!!!

you got the wrong 2.02 jar, there's touchscreen and non-touchscreen versions. search forums for links

still wouldnt let me install. still came up with authorisation error so i copied it over the original jar. got all touch screen functions back but still says version 1.61.
:also says My location(beta) Sorry. My location is not available on this device. Is this correct for the ku990?
also does anyone know what the authorisation error is and how to fix it?

can anyone link me to a full 2.03 directory not just the .jar file. i think this will fix my problem.

Also how are other people using locator. my version says its not compatible with my phone.

I lost my touch screen function too - tried what you recommended. Still no touch screen function and my location does not work either.
If anybody could help, I just would like to have the touch screen functions back.
Oh, I downloaded version 2.03. - this is how I lost the touch screen version...

you have to make sure you download the touch screen version as there are different versions for different phones.

Unfortunately I made the mistake already.... So no more touch screen function for me anymore.
Any idea about how to restore it would be welcome - even if I have to go back to version 1.6.1.

just replace the "jar" in media\java\ams\Mxxx with http://www.google.com/gmm/apps/v2.0....3-m2_ts_L1.jar

Sorry total noob here - would I have to do that via ESF? Is there a way to do that without hacking?
