Technically the sending should work on all LG mobiles. But importing the contact lists could be a little bit different. Let me know how it handles, and if neccesary i'll make some changes

Changed a lot in the last couple of days. But i'm wondering if the configuration isn't too hard.

Can you tell me if a step by step wizard would be better?

I created a wizard to guide your for the first time through all the settings. If you download the software again it'll be explained to u.

Been trying this for a couple of days.

• Using USB cable the 'test connection' always returns 'Error: no phone found!'
• Needs acknowledgment that SMS has sent.
• Ability to display received SMS's would be great.

However this is looking very promising, I really like it. Hope you can get it to integrate with the phone more.

Any testing you want done let me know.

I'll see what I can do with the USB Cable in the next couple of days. I thought connecting the cable would also create a COM port for the phone so that it could be used the same way as Bluetooth.

The SMS send acknowledgment is an idea, but I did the opposite; get off my screen as fast as possible, and only bother me with problems. So the SMS is always send, except when it tells you I'm working on a next version which has some better support for errors with sending.

Although I spend a dozen hours trying to get received messages on the screen, none of them worked. I sacrificed a day again again last week to get this to work with ways I might have missed. But the LG just doesn't support it 'out of the box'. They use there own kind of program (it pops up on your phone when you connect the cable: LG's Phone Agent) and I can't figure it out what the commands are. Nothing regular of documented anyway.

So expect an automatic update this week. And let me know if you still want some acknowledgment when and SMS is send and in what kind of way.

Somehow the datacable connection works a little bit different and outputs much more useless data. The application didn't understand :P I changed it so that the datacable is supported. Please let me know if behaves strangely (related to COM port checking).

It's great !

But there's one problem for me.. When I want to send an SMS it's in the sent items but it doesn't really send the sms, Maybe because I haven't fill in the SMS center number? Cuz Im not sure which it is for Holland..

Hi Richard,

If you don't fill in the SMS Center (aka Message Center) you'd got a messagebox when sending an SMS telling you that it'll never arrive.. You never got it? (check if your Message Center is really empty in your configuration)

But you'll need to fill in the Message center. The application sets the Message center when connection to the phone. When it's left out blank in the configuration it doesn't set the SMS center, but you just proved that the phone can't work without setting it.


The Message Center (SMS Center) is different per provider. But if the Wizard couldn't find your Message Center on the phone, then you can always find your number here:
On your viewty > Menu > Messages > Settings > Text Message center > it's the number you find there

Hopefully it'll work now!

Hey Elect,
I found that number already yesterday too, It's: +31653131313, but when I fill that in it's still the same..

The program doesn't show anything too, But they are in the sent history on the programm..
