Free Network Unlock: Samsung Tocco (F480)

If your Tocco is network locked to O2 or Vodafone and you wish to unlock it for use with a different provider, It can be unlocked by entering the following codes using the dialpad:

#7465625*638*00000000*00000000#

then:

#7465625*638*00000000#

Confirmation should be displayed onscreen after each code is entered. That's all there is to it! The above method may work with other Samsung handsets (i.e: G600, etc.) too.

note: This method will not unblock a blacklisted handsetand may have adverse affects on the handset if used with other mobile operator networks! see my comments on the matter below.

Correct! that'll also happen when you enter 638, Just keep going, count the zero's in your head - there should be 8 in each sequence.

I did it as you tell, but I got "wrong password"...

these are not "passwords", they are network codes. they will allow the phone to be used on a different network, but you have to be able to start the phone in the normal way first. The title of the post says "NETWORK Unlock", not "PHONE Unlock".

unlocking it this way, is still unlockin the fone... as unlockin a fone is 2 b able 2 use another network!!
