Default how to turn off 3g?

Hi,

When I'm finished browsing the web, is there a proper way to disconnect? I couldn't find a way, so I just hit the xcall end button, but the 3G symbol at the top of the widget screen looks like the connection is still on. Any way around this? I'd just be concerned that if it's constantly connected it'll be costing me a fortune?

On my 6120 classic, there was an option to disconnect from the web

any ideas?

thanks

the symbol goes red when when 3G is in use & blue when it's in standby. hitting "end call" terminates everything.

I should add that those colours are relevant for the "open" Samsung firmware (which I know you have )! I think the vodafone firmware uses a grey symbol, not sure about other operators.

also, you may need to hit "end call" twice to exit some java apps.

Thanks again. Had a look at OM. I just googled it with the file extension.jar and found it. Downloaded it from the wap address directly to the phone.

The link to games on the thread you directed me to seems to be dead. Do you know of any site where all the games an apps available for the tocco are listed? I know I can probably find them by googling with the jar extension, but to do that you need to know the name of the app you're after, whereas I was hoing to have a browse.

I'm very happy with the phone. Thanks for helping me decide to go for it!

use opera mini to browse to the davidpye site, my default browser doesn't allow downloads from that site either - it's a Vodafone thing - but opera allows downloads.
