music volume and alarm noise

First, I use the phone to listen to the radio whilst cycling on the way to work, with volume turned max on handset and max on the handsfree its still not really that loud and I have problems hearing it sometimes. Just thinking whilst writing this, does it make a difference to headset volume with which profile its set on, proberly not?

Second issue is with the alarm clock. I keep my phone on vibrate most of the time as I find peoples phones annoying going off all the time, problem with this is that it then means that the alarm clock only vibrates as well which is pretty useless, Anybody have a way around that? I've tried making a custom profile with vibrate setttings but doens't seem to have an option to keep the alarm sound.

Any help would be great!

First. Well, the quiet-ness? of it might be because of the radio signal, mine dosnt go loud on radio but plenty loud enough playing mp3's

Second, I dont rele know, dont have a ringtone or anyhting in a custom profile? unless uve tried tht?
