Just sent a complaint guessing we will not hear from them.

This is what i sent:--

We was 'PROMISED' a ku990/viewty firmware update to fix the hundreds of bugs and problems.

This was emailed to me saying the "end of april 2008" i havent heard anything about it since nor an update been released!
I was expecting an amazing phone but in realality i got a poorly, rushed peice of hardware and software.

There has been a list of things wrong and things that SHOULD be included in an update. This is the link to a huge list of problems.

Spotted another one - UI: The phone book should have the option to be one long list not rigidly divided into A-D etc

When in the phonebook, and on search mode (with keypad showing) click the scroll bar and it expands to show all phone book entries (Well it does on mine anyway, noticed it this weekend)

Bug: Cannot choose different profile when using hands free which means you have to edit the profile to make it silent. Cannot even choose a custom profile.

CAMERA:

-Picture that you took should stay on the screen for a few seconds, not forever (this option should be in settings)

-Burst shot -you should be able to save ALL images, not just one

There's another bug, at least in firmware v10g. When you put it on the silent profile, the media player still plays out aloud. WTF!

Is this only in the Orange firmware?

Wish: On sending an sms it should have a list of recent contacts

Mine(ie v10g) has a list of recent contacts.

After i've entered atext, pressed the left hand white button, gone to Recipients page, then if i press the button on the left hand side, i get the options for:

Recently used
Save to drafts
Exit

Wish: Lock with password

Mine has this too. Go to security, then Handset lock. Select "Immediate".

Really Annoying!!! When recording video the sound shut off after 30 seconds. Make the rest of the video no sound.

Hi, anybody found answer on how to solve the phone shutting down while in lock mode bug????
The only way to restart the phone is to re-insert the battery and that is too much of a hassle if your driving.
