viewty out of focus

Hello!

My LG Viewty ku990-MSM6280-V10f-DEC-04-2007-GB
lost possibility to focus while I making snap shot. To hold half pressed shooting button not helping.
The focus has been lost while I making macro photos through little magnifying glass (lens).
Little bit after that, I have to make a street photo and ever since phone camera out of focuse.
I did factory reset in hidden menu 3845#*990# is helped me but camera worked for 1 day and now agent out of focus.
Please tell me is it software or hardware problem. Seams to me it is software. Please do you have uptodate for my model (flash)?

The best range for taking a pictures now 150mm from the camera, everything in focus.


Strange thing; when I reset settings to factory default camera was working but recording photos to handset memory I change it on external memory and focus lost. I format the SD card and try again focus worked! But today it is dead for sure. I tried factory reset 2 times noting.

Did you try using manual focus all the way to the right (focus at infinity)?

Do the lens reset to infinite focus when switching to camcoder?

Do you hear any clicking sound coming out from the lens as you try to set focus (auto or manual), or when switching to camcoder, or when removing the battery?

Yes indeed I tried manual focus to the right and to the left no change.

Yes the lens rest to infinite if I switching to camcorder!

No sound and no visible movement from the camera lens.

have you tried downloading homeros drivers for the camera they are like updates for the drivers they might work

I have the same problem. I am just about to send it in for repair in Sweden. Probably hardware failure in camera.

They have now put in a new camera in my phone. I'm awaiting the phone in a few days here now. So if your camera starts to be out of focus, have your warranty card ready!

Update: Problem gone with new camera installed! The spin wheel is so easy to twist now as well. Hehe..
