Means your sims been disabled/disconected by the network but check it in another phone to make sure otherwise you probably have a faulty handset or no reception for that perticular network in your area

have this inactive usim problem too
it goes away like after switching it off and back on again
but the thing that pissing me off is that this appear on my screen like at least five times a day
this is actually my second viewty
it is because of this same problem i got an exchange from phone4u
but the problem still persist
dunno if its the reception, was in london central and still experiencing the problem
called my network orange and they dont know damn thing bout it
i got ppl complaining they cant get me on my mobile
tried the sim card on my old W800 it works perfectly
wot the f**k is wrong with my viewty

Open it up and just make sure it's securely in the slot okay, and pushed in as far as it can go. Might be some connectors aren't touching properly?

I had this when I first got my phone & thought the network had cut me off! I took it out and gave the contact side a clean on my denims! it hasn't happened again since.

it's probably just a combination of grime on the sim card and the Viewty contacts being a little low slung.

Yeah I switched it off and took out the sim card for a little while. When I put it back in it worked fine.
