what is the diffrence between the KU990 and the KU990R?? and witch 1 is better??

U990R does not

I would say, that U990R has 3G and a lens cover...
KE990 has a lens cover also, but lacks 3G support...

Off course KU990R is better.

KU990R is the new revision from the old KU990

KU990R has got lens cover, but anything else is the same. But the KU990R has got an other firmware because of the lens and so u cant flash it with ku990 firmwares, it would break

I don't know the KU990, so i don't know other software differences.

KU990R has the following advantages over a normal KU990:
( I have the KU990R so I know this is true)

Better, more responsive touch-screen. (On par with iphone)
Xenon Flash (KU990 has a strobe flash)
Lens Cover
The size of pictures taken with the camera is less than 1 MB now
Speed of camera is improved (About 2-3 second shot to shot time)
New firmware

Have you tried the KU990 also? Except for the lens cover (and the flash I guess), there isn't much different, pictures below 1MB is telling me that something isn't better at all.. Most of my pictures at max & auto settings are below 1MB either (I've got the KU990 V10H), from shot to shot is fast too, but depends on if you are using a card or storing it in phone. Storing to phone memory makes it also about 2 seconds about the screen I wouldn't know, but as long as I got the Viewty for about a month I have no single problems with inresponsiveness, I barely really have to press to use a button.

If I'd had to choose between te 2 of them I would still go for the KU990R thou, just because the lens cover is very important to me, for all other 'cons' mentioned here, I wouldn't really bother about searching for it

Ohyea the option to be turning of the shutter sound is good though (if that is true), but I've fixed this on my phone too (shutter 1 and 2 are still sounds but I just silenced the 3th one).
