how to unlock Nokia 6300?

Today ive bought a nokia 6300 (for my sister becuz it was her b-day monday..:P)
but now i want to unlock it..so does any1 knows how this can be done..????

as far as i'm aware you need to use specialised programs not available for free to unlock it. First came MT-Box which was a test point unlocking, then a company called BBKing worked with ODEON and BB5-Box to bring the no test point unlocker
currently i'm using BB5king and JAF
the code generator you found will only work on DCT4 phones, and you can get the DCT4 codes free from gsmliberty. 6300 is what we call a BB5 phone, so it's not supported by the DCT4 generators

there are lots of free unlocking applications available google it....you will definately find something....

DEJAN software is supposed to work on all BB5 phones except those locked to '3' network.

i'll be hunting around for a decent copy this weekend. just need to get hold of a BB5 handset to try it on!!

I'm not sure that you should ask about unlocking, maybe Nazaroth missed this thread out when he was deleting all the unlocking questions. Lock please
