Default service menu and unlocking menu

does any one know how to get to the service menu and unlocking menu when the phone says emergency calls only, it allow me to get to the key pad but doesnt let me use a # or * so i cannot use the code to get into them

I don't think it will be possible without a valid sim card - unless you're a programmer with back-door access!

what's the problem with your sim why you can't get network coverage?

because basically i deleted a file by accident and had to put v10a on as its the only version of the firmware i can find on the web, now my orange sim card or any other uk sim cards do not work in it

have a look at \LGAPP\Media\Flex, there is a file in there that looks like it could be to do with unlocking the fone!
