Just put the files on my phone now its saying USIM locked...???...

All right now had to put my backup firmware back on it.

I tried it again and reset the phone settings but as soon as i turn off and on the phone...USIM locked..

it should work iv tryied it on a few firmware versions and they all worked fine.
But will have a look at all the files and see if theres anything missing.
did you reset your phone before are after you added the flex folder?

Hopefully you have a backup of your original Flex folder, put these back and add

to the end of your own flex file, that is
LGAPP/Flex/OPEN/*.ini
or
LGAPP/Flex/VDF/*.ini

basically the folder withing the Flex folder. Then look for the ini with your country code (ie. AU for Australia, GB for Great Britain) and add the code above to the bottom of that *.ini file.

That is after installing GMail and Google Maps

to use the efs tool you need to set your phone into data service and not mass storage
