Default Drastically reduce lag internet browsing!!!

here is a hint for you all.

dial 3845#*910#
4)modem setting
3)PDP Setting

change the timeout values on option 3+4 to 5 minutes (T_NAO(def.ACNT) and T_NAO(Nondef.ACNT)
then reboot

it keeps alive your data connection between web and wap pages for 5 minutes and reduces the time waiting for "connecting..." for connect

should not cost you any more, as its not downloading any data. its just keeping the connection "alive" for longer. a 0 minute timeout is stupid IMHO

I've noticed a difference jumping from one page to another. Great find and it makes sense.

Going to try this for sure, it should speed up things when using it as my computer's internet connection I think.

It's good to know someone's out there fiddling around with that stuff for us and taking some for the team, I don't suppose you have found anything in there that deals with IP security type stuff?
I have a problem with NAT - Network Address Translation, shows up as 'strict' in windows live games such as GTA IV, people fix it to 'open' by doing stuff to their router settings, but I'm using the phone so...(inbuilt router thing?) please help!

---edit
I have just tried using my dad's wireless dongle, also with three, and the NAT shows up as open!
Do you know what the difference is between how my phone & a dongle operates?
Help me G Man! I hope you really are the tech whiz you seem to be!
