Not heard of that problem before, You could try resetting your router see if that works.

My renoir now finds the router, and connects successfully. However it still won't allow access to the net, or the weather widget. It is coming up with 'Invalid Access'.

I am wondering if the settings are not quite right, although I don't know which ones!!

Like wise, only took me a couple of minutes aswell, gotta be a router problem i reckon, you havent got MAC address filtering set up on it have you ?

How can I be sure, that my Renoir is using the internet through the WiFi? Phone is connected, profiles setted up (without any proxy), but if i google for my IP, then the result is different than my actual addres is.
Do you also have the "globe" icon between signal strength and wifi icons?

The globe will still be there when using WiFi, If your using ur mobile network then the G or H or whatever in the top left corner above your signal meter will be red

Hello wxm!
I guess your phone wireless security config doesn't match your network. Note that Renoir supports WPA and NOT WPA2. See your network administrator what security type the wireless accesspoint is set to.
