I could not even detect the router at home (nor could my daughter's Iphone) yet at work, the identical router (Netgear DG834Gv2) worked fine. I downloaded the latest firmware, then reset the router using the button at the back and then reran the set up wizard. Everything worked fine after that.

Got the phone on tuesday and I'm having wi-fi issue as well. works fine at my parents house but on my own router i can connect and at first it would allow .co.uk and .net addresses but not .com. and now it just comes back saying the requested host was not found. AAAAAAARRRGH!!

Other than that no problems.

Anyone got any ideas?

Sounds like a simple DNS issue really. Some routers detect DNS and Windows will use that router address (for example 192.168.1.1) as the DNS server.

It doesn't always work unfortunately, or more annoyingly it will for a while then not.

Best bet is to go into your wifi settings relating to your home WiFi (this is on your phone btw) and change DNS servers to the opendns ones or if you prefer your ISP ones.

OpenDNS servers are 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220.

But you can (and should!) google the site and see for yourself!

Hope that fixes it, worked for me for the phone and many laptops (since I have static IP's set at home).

Thanks for the reply. But I cant find any of the settings you mention (i'm thick) and also now it wont even connect to the wireless service regardless of security being on or off.

My Wifi has suddenly stopped working! Has been working like a dream, then suddenly....nothing. My weather widget won't update, I can't access the internet anymore with Wifi. I just comes up with 'Invalid Access'. This is driving me crazy. I've even re-entering my routers key, but nothing.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
