No, just because the support of LG sucks.
Never ever LG again!
Just slumbered school away cause my LG crashed at night, problem is known to LG but not fixed by a fw update which has often be announced. We consumers have just one power do make a change (Obama^^), don't buy these buggy products, so don't buy a LG any more, is my only recommendation!

Are you sure you're using your LG properly? I've had mines for over 4 months, dropped it on countless occasions and it hasn't failed once!

I agree the lack of LG support sucks but the Viewty imo is a great phone. I have mine for a few months now and I have yet to have one issue with it that wasn't my fault. I would buy another LG phone but I do wish that LG would improve on their customer support(the Viewty is begging for a firmware update). The Renoir looks to be a nice phone which has more features and is more advanced than the viewty. I would definitely go for it if the price is right.

Its a viewty with a few improvements... at least on Orange with their branding =(

Same as the Viewty, I like to delete everything on the phone's memory and transfer as much as possible to the external memory card...

Unfortuantly, Orange have shoved on game demos, crap images etc etc and I cannot delete/move them. There is no option, on phone or through LG Suite...

How can I get rid of them!!

Just to give you an idea how much memory they use, the phone cannot access Photo Gallery, and send a picture message. It tells me "Application Limit Has Been Reached!"

Yeah, I'm using my phone properly, the bug has already been discussed in this forum, I'm not the only one with it
The Hardware is great, there's no discussion, the quality is on a very high standard (what you should expect for this price)
But the software could need some improvements and that's the point. LG does nothing at all to fix these bugs and they do not offer any support to developers who try to fix them on their own.

You cant fool me LG - Take away the unnecessary 8mp camera and wifi AND the renior is just a viewty with some new firm/software updates,
Grrrrr its just a way of getting a new product out there and charging a premium for it when the viewty could be sorted with a new firmware.
FFS who needs 8mp on a camera phone anyway! its just one upmanship- give me an alarm that works in quiet mode any day

That's what I was thinking but thought there might have been enough on the Renoir to warrant buying over a viewty. I'll keep mine a little longer.

dude don't get the lg renoir yet. i should be getting it on wednesday/thrusday. i'll do a review for it then i will let you decide btw it looks cool
