Default Google announces 'Apple like' AppStore for Android

This looks really good for a phone like our little viewty... I've read that Android will come pre-loaded on new phones as of later this year.

When Android finally comes out, can it be installed on to the viewty, thus giving all of us access to this? This would be the long awaited software update that bloody LG refuses to provide.

Have you seen my app store? It's far from complete but it still work's sort of like the android-iphone app store. P.S. We just released App Store 2.0 with a new look and all plus we will be adding many more apps

Schmindy - no offence, but google have already spent many millions of dollars encouraging app development around the world and so what i'm talking about doesnt really compare. This will be bigger than the apple appstore when it comes out, and is an open source project meaning that we should be able to run it on the viewty and get all sorts of awesome applications running. Can one of the more technically inclined posters indicate how easily the Android software could be put on a viewty?

Nick R. I completely agree with you. The android app store has the backing of millions of developers where as my app store does not. I think the jury's still out on weather or not android will be widely accepted be the market though. But yes it is likely that I will use android on my KU990.
