Im on 3 and have set up two email accounts on my phone (BTConnect and NTLWorld which is Virgin Media I believe now!), anyway I also have unlimited access to the net........and I DONT get charged any extra for sending or receiving emails.

Because I still havent worked out how to set the auto retrieve in the Flex folder (because 3 have blocked it) I have to randomly poll emails so Im constantly using it.....and my bills are just the same.

I too can confirm, that there is no extra charge on that, I have NTLWORLD and MAC which I constantly use, and have not been charged a penny for them, although this was used on the Nokia E65, it's the same priciple.

Hi guys i need some help please.....
im on 3 UK and although i tryed to set an email account following the instructions on the viewty manual i still can't send emails.
I have aol email, and use outlook on my PC.

I can send emails using the google account which seems to connect directly from the phone (i Don't have an internet add-on yet).

Any ideas?
A step by step instruction would be greatly appreciated, as im not very technical

what network u on?

if ur on virgin they will send the settings direct to ur phone(dnt no about other networks)

Hi Tomtoon, im on 3 uk.
It seems that i can send emails now.... sent one on Wed and it shows on "sent items" although it took 3Hrs
sent two tonight and still took 3Hrs but this times they don't show as "sent items".
this are my setting:

this seems to be working on sending mail,but still i cant see emails in mailbox
also i tried to do a folder synchronization and it says" connecting to imap.aol.com but fails to connect. I suppose that would be to retreve emails to mail box right?

Any idea anybody??

Yeah,it does say that... i changed it to 143.Now seems that i can send emails, but still i can't retreve them or see my mail box.

I tryed to open the mail box, choose the outlook account, folder syncronization, it starts with : Connecting to imap.aol.com, Autorising, Syncronising, Quitting. It won't retreve nothing, tryed this without usb cable and with it no joy both ways.
Is there some setting that i have to adjust on my PC's outlook for it to work?
Sorry if this questions sounds stupid but im not really technical.
Any idea is really appreciated
