3 Offering me a 3G Iphone paygo

Anyways, Three rang me today, yes they rang me.
Asking me if i would like a 3 phone and contract, so i replied
"im currently with and 3 and unhappy with contract and handset and will be ending the contract in february"
He asked what phone do you currently have
"Lg Viewty" I said
He said Bad Handset, i said "it is"
Anyway the point is he is offering me the chance to end my current contract now free of charge and i can keep the viewty, he then said, because of that, we require you start a new contract for 18 months, we will send you either the nokia 6500 slide or the K770i, for free and the amount you pay will stay the same, i said okay, he then said in the first week of january we will send you a Free Pay as you go phone for staying with us and for a christmas present, because you are a credible customer we want to keep !

So if i quit my current contract for £27 a month
and open a new one for 18 month, they will send me a k770i within 3 days and then an iphone 3G in january, thats not all however after 3, 6, 9, 12 months they will send me a money back voucher which entitles me too upto £210 back

hmm, well it depends if you want one of them phones...

I'll be looking at one of the next gen phones, blackberry bold, X1, G1, n96 etc..

I'd just ride it out and and get the choice.

Although fair do's for 3 for exercising some godd customer service.

No, Daz they didnt straight out offer me an Iphone, they told me i could have a samsung innov8 but i turned that down, then i asked for a samsung tocco being used to a touchscreen and he said okay, but then i said actually how about an iphone, he agreed and said he could arrange that so basically any phone i want he said so the Iphone however i do like the HTC touch pro !

firstly I doubt that was 3 that rang you, secondly, since when did they get the rights to release the iPhone? Always be wary of people who ring you offering you outlandishly good deals as there is always a catch. In this case the catch is probably that you must use the iPhone on o2 and pay stupid amounts on it. But heh if they do send you one, great, just check them out first.
