You probably need to amend your Flex files, these store configurations for network provider settings.

It depend on how you replaced them, you said your phone has been flashed by the shop. This may have changed how the file structure of the Flex files are found.

What version is your phone running now?

Due to the raise workload and expected short but intense support requirements, vuite is cancelled. LG have dropped the viewty like a hot potato, don't blame us.

Ok, the first flex.ini file gives information to find the detailed network settings, folder and file name in that folder.

I assume you mean your on Hong Kong v10b, coupled with the fact your one Rogers in Canada, means this is a combination I have never seen so don't know what the folder should be called.

Mine, being in the UK on orange is a folder called ORG and the file is flex_GB.ini so my file structure goes flex.ini/ORG/flex_GB.ini

Check your original flex files for this section:
Code:
FLEX_COUNTRY_CODE=234
FLEX_MNC_CODE=02
FLEX_OPERATOR_CODE=2
Then use the country and operator code to find the names of the files and folders to be used. This all depends on what flex.ini file your actually using on your phone.

FLEX_COUNTRY_CODE=0
FLEX_MNC_CODE=0
FLEX_OPERATOR_CODE=9
FLEX_SIMLOCK_ON=0
FLEX_OPEN_SW_TARGET_COUNTRY=454

heres what mine looks like, even in the backup. going thur the flex.ini and comparing it to yours, im wondering what it means to have the country code at 0 and the operator code set to 9(which is OPEN). the phone is unlocked so could that be why its set like this? and if i change the country code back to 454:HK will that effect my unlocked settings?

u know, mabe this isnt a problem with my flex.ini files or folders. going thur all the different post of ppl who are having the same problem and it not working for anyone else makes me think its something else. the phone seems to be reading everything off my SIM and flex so the Canadian carrier im on is in the network prefered settings and all. its on the smae flex.ini file in my backup which was working(for a whole 3 days). mabe a problem with somekinda reception file or something?

any other input on this or info may help us "no Network"ers fix our Viewty's

Edit-
i found an old SIM card i was using back when i was in Vietnam last xmas, and even with that its still reading the company i was using the same way it was reading my Canadian Carrier's sim in the viewty. just ike i said No Network. so i believe its reading the SIM and the Network settings for different Carriers right. Just not connecting to my carrier. so mabe im on to something, yes? No?

upgraded my firmware from 10d to 10g resulted to no network ... then i reflashed to 10a .. and its running smoothly... but it seems i downgraded the FW ... any ideas why it would result to no network at 10g?

As EVERYONE says , v10a v10b v10c v10g are NOT updates. So you can't say that you downgraded.

Now ontopic, there might be a bug in v10g or NV doesen't work with it (?). For me on KU990i v10b is faster and works great
