another yellow screen... (u990)

tried to upload TOTO folder and cable fell out, so i deleted the half uploaded one and the LGAPP that was still on it, and tried to upload the TOTO again, but failed, so i'm thinking i may need to reflash. tried to reflash to 10g but kept getting "select ku990 .dz file" error in LGMDP, so i'm wondering if i have to put it emergency download mode or something? i have reuploaded the TOTO folder backup and renamed it LGAPP, so it should work but still yellow screen.

no error messages when i turn it on, just goes straight to refreshing.

i've managed to locate a u990 firmware v10d.

would the easiest thing to do now be flash it with that firmware? do i have to do anything after that like restoring the flex file or nv files or something?

just backup your flex folder and nv file just in case. if you do mange to mess something up try using this as a guide

alright well the .dz has has downloaded, so i'm about to try it with LGMDP H3G and delete the efs.

do i need to be in gang image mode?

yes gang image mode is the safest option

ok, tried both refreshing screen, and gang image modes, with the battery in and out, and i keep getting "error! low battery". any solutions for that?

so frustrating...

the only thing is for that is to charge the battery for a few hours or if any of your friends have a viewty charge it in there phone so you no when its fully charged.

aha. i do have a spare viewty with a cracked screen, pretty sure it works well enough so that i can charge it in that still. thank you for the help, i'll be back to post results in a while.

ALso you can convert your U990 to KU990 if you want, so you can use MMPlayer mods, Themes , and any mods that require the KU990 model. Its an easy process so if you want to know how to do it let me know or add me on my msn (atimoterataki@hotmail.com)
