Reflash Viewty

Hello Guys

When i was trying to put a custom nyx file on my viwty,bu an accident i deleted my toto folder instead of the empty lgapp folder.
What I understand out of the forum is that I have to reflash my viewty.
I have lgdmp on my computer but how do I reflash the phone.
Current Firmware is v10b vodafone nl mar 2009.
The phone is a LG KU990i.

EDIT: I have found on this forum a LGAPP folder of my firmware.
I have writed this on the phone,but the Pxo folder is pxo without a captial and i can't rename it to Pxo.
it won't start with this.
How can i change the name of the folder?

Pxo folder is secured and to change its name you need to rename LGAPP to TOTO and change pxo -> Pxo. Altough I think it won't help renaming the folder. For KU990i you need to flash it with a .dz firmware and a program called LGMDP (Download).

Omokas and I have tried to fix it but we have seen that i dont have a KU990i but a KU990iG.
Does someone also have that.
If you haven can you backup your firmware and upload it somewhere?
Or does someone have a link to KU990iG firmware?

Hey.. What to do? I got yellow creen of death "refreshing" , I accidentally deleted my TOTO AND LGAPP files by using efs, now i try to reflash my phone.. My LGMDP says my phone is KE990, but IMO its KU990 and when i try to "mount" the dz image on LGMDP it says something like "Select Ku990i Image" and the image is "KU990i-DZ-V10b-MAR-12-2009-OPN-EU.dz".
Please.. what to do?

I have searched much but haven't find anything for myself so decided to go to the store and ask there.

Hello

You just need to reflash your phone. Make sure you have KU990i (Not the one from Vodafone) and use my Easy Viewty Flasher (Search on the Software Discussion subforum) to help you flash your phone without bricking it

then in i browse in Original then select in the desktop

it still says Select Ku990i image....



how do i manage this???

Yes because you need a KU990i DZ firmware. If you are selecting already a KU990i firmware ,then make sure you select "KU990i" on my Easy Viewty Flasher
