i just replaced all the files from the backup.

im going to check in a bit to make sure they all copied over correctly

Always try and replace only the folders you have adapted or changes, just in case backup files are corrupt.

It does sound like an issue with the pxo files. But take care with these.

Hi Can anyone please provide info from the orange UK "Media/flex/flex.ini", need the info from this file to restore my phone as never did a backup and my phone is currently messed up. Can someone please help. a bit late but finally got the hang of using EFS.Thanks

Hi, Can someone help me please. i've been reading this forum now for hours and i'm still unable to download a copy of the LG 3g mobile download software.

I've bricked my phone basically. I wasn't changing much just the flex.ini file to try and see if it would unlock it. I'm on T-mobile V10a or was.

Now all the phone will do is display the keylock screen. When i press the unlock button it's as though i'm not doing anything. It boots up as normal and i enter the security code and that's it i get a t mobile screen forever all the right noises and if i press the camera button i can even take photo's but there's no menu's??? :S

Now i anticipate one of you replying with it's here in this dedicated thread in itallian. Well i'm sure it is but i can't bloomin find it and i'm no fool so could someone please just make it a bit simper and give me a simple link to this program so i might attempt fixing my new phone . NOT on that rapid share thing either please because that won't work for me.

You are not looking for the right piece of software, you are not even calling it the right thing. Neither the LG 3g downland software or Dengles flasher software is what you need.

You need to carry on with EFS and put it right. Getting a more serious tool is not the answer when you get the basic one wrong. You will end up in the shop with a poor excuse.

You just need to put back any files you have played with from your back up. Wait don't tell me you didn't make a back up? Well find the correct backup from the posts in the hacking/firmware boards and use them.

As for rapidshare, well most of us use it as it's a simple option and is easy to use. It takes a little while but, it's free so...
