How to get into Gang Image Mode

Okay so you are able to get into Gang Image Mode and connect to EFS. Does your phone keep restarting when it is Gang Image Mode?

If you can connect with Gang Image Mode for a long enough time, you need to use Gang Image Mode to replace all your PXO/Module files from your backup. Also copy the 'swf' folder from your backup to your phone (to LGAPP/Media) as an incompatible Flash file can make your phone restart.

If you do that and it still does not work, I am afraid you will have to use Emergency Download Mode and a Flashing tool such as LGMDP to restore/change your firmware.

It didn't work. I'm pretending to make a flash in my viewty but it is hard to find the firmware for the ke990d.

Ah I see your using the KE990... that may be why some things are a bit different.
Still any version of the KE990 firmware may well work, if it's anything like the Viewty LG will have hardly touched it between different versions.

except its not yellow, its blue! i cant get into my phone, i cant connect to efs, i can connect to LGMDP, but its no use, since no1 has a image or whatever for the KE990!????!?!??!?!?! Im so pissed, all cuz i wanted a theme... 300$ down the drain

Don't play around with shit you don't understand next time.

I'm sitting here with a bricked Viewty myself, agreed to help a "buddy" out with it. And it's impossible to get find the files needed because everything is deleted

Thank you so much Joe13, thanks to you I was able to return my phone to its before theme manager state... man I was scared... that's the trick... put the phone on Gang Image Mode, I then put every folder of LGAPP from your back up copy of course... (mine's for a KE990, hard to find, but contact me to arecoki@hotmail.com if you need it... btw my firmware is Asian so just English and others South Asian languages, no French, Spanish or any other Language... LGAPP to your phone so I replace every folder on the phone with the ones from the original firmware, click refresh and then click disconnect, (EFS Explorer) and then restart the phone and voilà! the phone came to life , thanks JOE and this great site, for driving me to install the theme manager to then bricked it to death, and finally able to restore it to my original firmware thank you all

ok guys u wont be able 2 access this if u cant get the yellow screen, or if ur phone is working or only a half brick, if u only keep getting emergeny mode u have a full brick u have 2 reflash

i have got into gang image mode don't ask me how trying to connect to efs but says no file directory any boday out there can help - lg viewty phone
