I'm not convinced you have to, I think SUPER contains it's own Codecs so it doesn't need to rely on what's on the system. However I have had trouble with it. I suggest (shouldn't take too long):

1. Uninstalling SUPER
2. Uninstalling any codec packs you currently have
3. Re-installing K-lite http://www.free-codecs.com/download/...Codec_Pack.htm (I use the lots of stuff option, but it's upto you)
4. Re-install SUPER http://www.erightsoft.com/S6Kg1.html
5. Try again with the settings at the start of this file (avi, divx, 400x240, 23.97, 336 bitrate, 48000 128 mp3, etc)

I've checked the SUPER website, apparently it does support rmvb so could be a conversion issue. Re-installing SUPER normally solves my problems.

Thanks again for the swift reply! I shall try your instructions later. But in the meantime, everytime I start up SUPER it says that it's not compatible with Vista, but I seem to remember the website saying that it did. Does any know if Vista is inhibiting the running of SUPER?

I cant find the option to change the resolution of the vids on DR.divX? I can only pick between pre-set Res which doesn't include 400x240?

SUPER (C) runs fine on Vista, I use it
And it does contain all of its own codecs, however if you tick the DirectShow box it will attempt to use DirectX and the systems own codecs (can be quicker if you have the right DirectShow filters installed)
Its about the most powerful converter out there, and gets updates fairly often.

Converting generally does take time, especially if you alter the aspect ratio/size.

@ turban-elite
First you add the file then you press the advanced tab then you go on the pre-processing tab and then on the aspect ratio you choose custom and then you enter the 400x240 mate.
It's really easy.
