IPhone 3G[S] Jailbreak has arrived....

Yes that's right, but surprisingly it has not come from the dev team, it has in fact come from GeoHotz aka George Hotz, THE most famous iPhone hacker on the planet. His tool is called purplera1n which is currently only available for windows xp users.

The Dev Team have also announced that ultrasnow is up and running on the 3G[S] too, whether you can use this yet I don't know but if you rely on your iPhone being unlocked then please DO NOT update when Apple release 3.1 in the near future.

GeoHotz has not been working with the Dev Team beacause they have decided to wait for 3.1 before they release the jailbreak. Instead GeoHotz has been working closely with the Chronic Dev Team, who aren't in the spotlight that much but are still talented where it counts.

There has been alot of verbal bashing of the dev team over the last week due to their logic concerning the jailbreak but we will see if any of this affects what they do in the future.
