In car useage

Hi,
Im not sure if this is the rigth place to post or indeed if you will be able to help!?
I have an ipod nano and wan to use it in my car.
My car stero has a usb port on front, is it possible to play ipod through car stero using usb cable?
Stero has an aux in on back so i could use that but that means pulling radio out and doing some wiring and hiding cable etc....im lazy!
Sorry if this is something that is not discussed here, but thought id give it a shot as its an Apple forum!

Its not meant to be asked since this is the Mobile section, but i'll help you anyway

The USB connection on the front of the car will connect to your nano, however your stereo won't be able to play it. The Stereo will look for .mp3 .wma etc on the USB to play, however when you load music onto your iPod, Apple puts it all into some weird file container.

So the short answer is no. Either hook your AUX up or get an iTrip
