Jailbreak iphone os 3.0 for iphone 2g and 3g no def acount needed

I have had a look m8 and asked someone to reg me with a dev.

What i did was jailbreak then open itunes and restored..

It still says firmware 3.0 but i can now sync with itunes #

I have not got an O2 signal so cant make calls..

Is there a way to drop back to 2.11????

no you cannot sorry you wil have to wait til the official 3.0 will come out that will be around the 6th of june until than you will have a verry expensive ipod lol

so then i can just do a check for update and it will over write the 3.0 beta.?

M8 i realy appreciate all the help and i hope it all works on the 6th....

If i did get registered with a DEV could i just do a restore in itunes to the 3.0 and it will pick it up or is it just not worth it??

if you whant a dev acount it wil cost you 99 dollars maybe you can get on shombody,s dev acount they wil ask for some money and its not realy sure the wil put you on it if you are going to do it don,t pay more than 5 dollars so you do what you think is best give it a try or wait til 6th june

You can downgrade to 2.2.1.

Just restore to 2.2.1 and iTunes will kick up an error. Ignore that and go straight into Quickpwn after the restore finishes, use the last official version from the Dev Team Blog, just uncheck activate I think to keep your network service.

If you do get on a devs account then yeah just upgrade back to 3.0. There's plenty willing to add ya 4 free or a small fee, but as it is so close there's not much point really. But as we can't leave you with a brick for 10 days just downgrade.

M8 i dont use torrents so i have found it else were and will give it a go...

Didn't work when i hit shift restore itunes didnt see the files..

When i got the 3.0 upgrade it was one large file.

All the 2.2.1 ones i have downloaded are a series of files with 2 folders so i will just keep looking...

No not doing it.. I keep getting error code 1603 and when i open quickpawn it still says i have got version 3 installed.
