Forum Guidelines and Useful Information

These are some guidelines and tips to get the best from your time spent on this forum:

General Rules:

• Do not post Spam or Adverts, but you may link to your own site, providing it is not just a shop/store, and you may review or suggest products or offers and provide links to these in order to help other users.
• Do not post direct links to copyrighted games in any format, or to any sites that provide an index of such files. Doing so will get your post deleted and earn you an infraction.
  
• Do not use offensive (rude) language, or bully, insult or intimidate other forum members, either directly in the Forum, Chat or via PM/Visitor messages - as a general rule you will receive an infraction (possibly more if the incident is deemed severe), 3 or more infractions may result in the suspension of your account.
• Please post in English, although we do have a lot of foreign users this site is based in the UK, so if you want the best chance of having your question answered use English. If you are having trouble translating to English try an online translator, it's better than nothing.
  
• Use the Search and Advanced search functions in the forums before asking questions. Also make sure to read the Wiki.
• Use the Chatrooms/ChatBox for chatting - if you want help with something it is better to post your question in theforums
  
• Please try to use good grammar and spelling in your posts - use a translator to check your spelling, and use a browser such as FireFox that will check your spelling as you type.
• Do not over-use UPPER CASE or emoticons .
• Do not post multiple times in the same thread in a short period of time - instead use the 'Edit' button to alter your last post.
• Use helpful thread titles, for instance "Software Problem - Yellow Refreshing Screen" is much better than "HELP QUICK".
  
• If you have a problem with your phone: note down some information about your problem before asking for help - what were you doing before it happened, were you doing anything while it happened, have you done anything after it happened, along with details of your phone, network operator and software version, and any modifications you have made to it. This will allow people to identify your problem and assist you much faster - it is in everyone's interest.
• Try to keep threads concise, informative and on-topic. Include tags and edit the title of your post so users can find your thread or post easily.
  

Senior Users & Moderators:

• One of the 'features' of forums is that questions will be asked many times - do not get agitated or aggressive with new users who ask questions which have already been answered. You may know the layout of the forum, and that the bug fix for feature X can be found on page 35, but they do not. Give them a nudge with some helpful search terms, or if you know the URL give them it, don't say "Everyone knows how to do X, search for it Noobie" - such a reply is not helpful and not informational, just post them the link. The quicker everyone's problems are solved the better for everyone - you were a noobie once.
  
• If you are tempted to get annoyed with someone for asking a simple question, just do not post and allow another user to reply in a helpful fashion.

I don't have specific topics, but i will answer and try to help anyone that PM's me
So my topics would be everything, except themes . If people want to request something, I will try and create it if its within my capability (Nyx, Dialpad, Photoviewer etc)

Great post Joe, very good.

It's true, the best way to speak to me is through PM. I check the forum about 100 times a day, but i get spammed by so many via email that i only really filter through it every week. PM is definitely the way to go.

Also questions about the viewty are pointless, I don't own this phone and haven't done so for ages, there are many experts on the forum who can help.
