HTC to unveil 2 new Android handsets June 24th in the UK

htc_hero_animationAccording to the flyer sent out by HTC (below), at 11:30am on June 24th, in London there will be a press conference. And the hot news is that at this conference they’ll be launching their 2 next Android handsets.

News just in is that the products being launched are the HTC Hero (a new touchscreen only device running Rosie) and the HTC Lancaster (which looks a little like the Magic but with a keyboard tucked neatly underneath.) The only interesting (and contradictory) tit-bit is that digitimes is reporting that the two look the same which indicates that what we know as the Lancaster may be only a render and the two both, infact, share the Hero form.

So add these to the rest of the June launches and we really do have a very good month ahead of us, and the fact these are being launched int he UK on the 24th means they will beat the iPhone, Pre and possible the Samsung to market.

    Wow. talking about love at first but better yet second sight.
    I'll wait and see how well performance is before leaping.The phone giants here in the US are conservative with what you can do with a phone esp one with a lot of great features.
